Background
My career journey encompasses studying languages and working for over 15 years in the corporate marketing world, but for the last 15 years I have devoted myself to understanding the human condition. After completing my master’s degree in psychology and working in a school, I joined the NHS, training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and as a Clinical Supervisor in a Mental Health Support Team in Schools. Since then, I have completed further training to become an Integrative Counsellor, expanding my repertoire of approaches.
Now I balance my private work – working with adults and adolescents over 16 in private practice, as well as senior leaders and pastoral teams in schools – with my NHS role.
The foundation of my approach is Rogerian person-centred, but I also integrate elements of Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Depending on your needs, I may also offer creativity, breathwork, mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy and embodied work. I will tailor my approach to you.
